Kimberly Scott is President of ConklinScott, a Democratic Political Consulting firm specializing in national political and governmental affairs, campaign strategy, fundraising and labor relations.
A veteran of more than one hundred campaigns, she has over twenty-five years of experience in working with the national political community and Capitol Hill.
Kim is also Founder and Publisher of DemList, LLC, a free national political column, calendar and resource site for, to and about the Democratic Party and its allies.
The DemDailys have a loyal following of self-subscribed delegates, party officials, lobbyists, activists, press, donors and celebrities from every US state, the territories and Democrats in over 50 countries abroad.
The DemList Calendar was the party-endorsed calendar and daily source for the 2012 Democratic Convention, 2013 Inaugural, 2016 Democratic Convention, 2020 Democratic Convention, and 2021 Inauguration of President Joe Biden.

As Senior Finance Advisor for the Democratic National Committee during the 1996 election year, Kim focused on Presidential events nationwide, national labor and special projects related to the DNC, the Democratic Convention in Chicago and the Presidential campaign.
Prior to joining the DNC she served as President of Kimberly Scott & Associates, a political consulting firm specializing in national and in-district fundraising and political strategy. The firm was noted for its work with pro-choice, open seat and challenger races, as well as minority and women candidates.
Kim has served as a seminar speaker on campaigns, fundraising and the progressive movement for Campaigns and Elections Magazine, the DNC, National Democratic Institute, Bliss Institute of Applied Politics, Women’s Campaign School at Yale, NYU, AU, GWU School of Political Management, Women’s Campaign Fund, The National Women’s Political Caucus and The Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies.
Kim was named to Aristotle Industries’ 2010 national AAPC “Democratic Dream Team,” was previously voted one of politics’ “Rising Stars” by Campaigns & Elections Magazine and profiled as one of “74 Women Who Are Changing American Politics.”
She serves on the national Advisory Board of Campaign & Elections Magazine and is a past elected President of the Mid-Atlantic Board of the American Association of Political Consultants and former board member for NYU’s School of Political Management. She serves on the Advisory Boards of PeacePAC and the Women’s Information Network, and is a past recipient of WIN’s Karen Mulhauser Award for mentoring pro-choice Democratic women.
Prior to entering the field of fundraising and campaign consulting, Kim worked for media consultants Doak, Shrum & Associates and as a Legislative Correspondent on Capitol Hill. She holds a BS in Political Science from James Madison University and is a native Washingtonian.
Kim is a member of the National Writers Union and an associate member of the United Steelworkers union.
